www.AccidentTax.com
The Property Casualty Insurers Association
of America (PCI) has launched a new Web site, www.AccidentTax.com.
The site is designed to build public awareness and mobilize opposition
to the practice of municipalities charging fees when police or fire
department personnel respond to a traffic accident. The site serves
as an informational resource on this issue, provides a national
perspective, local news and offers an interactive sounding board
for those who have been adversely affected by the practice. In addition
we have included a grassroots component on the site that allows
the public to contact state or local elected officials as well as
the media. |
