Protesting the Massive & Improper Increase of Assessments
NYIA is initiating a grassroots campaign to engage members and industry partners in protesting the proposed 2009-10 New York State Executive Budget’s massive and improper increase of Insurance Law Section 332 Assessments. Below are sample letters for your use to contact State legislators, insurance agents and your policyholders for the purpose of generating extensive communications with the New York State Governor and Legislature expressing the need for these increases to be eliminated from the 2009-10 State Budget in order for the property/casualty insurance industry in New York to remain a vibrant and productive sector of the New York State economy.
